Impact Campaign

The impact campaign will resonate for anyone who has an interest in democracy!

We are looking to partner with organisations to host screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and educational events around the film. We aim to bring together experts, activists, and audiences to discuss the issue of climate change disinformation and its impact on policy and public opinion.

We want the film to entertain, elucidate and educate.

As part of an education campaign, we will target younger generations who rely more heavily on social media for their news feeds and create educational materials from the film that guide students through critical thinking exercises identifying false information, how it’s created, how it spreads on social media and the types of misinformation that are particularly effective and dangerous.

We are creating a Screening Discussion Guide to help audiences distinguish between real science and disinformation, as well as equip them with the tools to advocate for evidence-based policy decisions.

By unpacking the most devastating example of global mis/disinformation we intend to inspire discussions around democracy, media ownership, regulation, legislative reform, political lobbying and transparency in government.

The campaign aims to empower audiences to advocate for science-based policies and take meaningful action towards a more sustainable future.

Our Goals

SHORT TERM

Working with partner organisations to host screenings, we will organize panel discussions, workshops, and educational events around the film, bringing together experts, activists, and audiences to discuss the issue of climate change disinformation and its impact on policy and public opinion.

MEDIUM TERM

With education lesson plans and as part of our Screening Discussion Guide, we will provide resources and information to help audiences distinguish between real science and misinformation, as well as equip them with the tools to advocate for evidence-based policy decisions. We will encourage audiences to fact-check claims and sources and promote critical thinking when evaluating information around climate change.

LONG TERM

The film will inspire a powerful realignment of leadership with science, highlighting the geopolitical uprising and strategic alliances now taking place between countries across the globe for climate justice. We intend to use the film to mobilise business leaders and politicians, to demonstrate how they can be part of the change.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a more informed and engaged public, one that is equipped to understand the complex realities of climate change and the actions necessary to mitigate its effects.

By using our film as a catalyst for change and mobilising audiences to take action, we hope to make a meaningful impact in the fight against climate change.
